This vintage electric skillet was my Mom’s and it was a wedding present to her in the 1960s. She certainly used it early on, but it’s been in her kitchen cabinet for decades unused and now it can be yours! The vintage Sunbeam Controlled Heat Automatic Frypan (electric skillet) has its lid and detachable power cord. This appliance was a popular mid-century kitchen item, known for its ability to maintain precise cooking temperatures and for being fully immersible for cleaning due to its "water-sealed" heating element, which means the entire pan can be immersed in water for cleaning, up to the control panel of the handle. It works! The bottom sides and lid have some scrapes. See photos.
